Supporting Male Student Mental Health in Higher Education
Men are less likely to disclose mental health conditions to their universities or reach out for support. We know there are huge barriers that men face, so we worked with male students and experts to explore different ways to support men’s mental health in higher education.
We have supported our male student volunteers across three years to co-produce mental health and wellbeing interventions to support men’s mental health. Exploring different activities across universities. Following the start of the pandemic, our volunteers chose to work remotely, focusing on running a podcast and sharing information on social media.
