Steering group for new Student Space Neurodivergent Content
At Student Minds we believe that the best way to support students and understand their lived experiences is to work alongside them. To achieve our strategic goals, we co-create with students, directly involving them in our work wherever possible. As part of the steering group, you will help to inform our approach, share insight, challenge our thinking and ultimately develop a podcast series and video content for neurodivergent students. This project is our third in a series of tailored podcast series, following Life as a Black student (2024) and Life as a trans+ student (2025).
Alongside co-creation with the steering group, we will be collaborating with neurodivergent experts throughout the development of the new content. Discussion of issues affecting neurodivergent people will be discussed in a safe space facilitated by neurodivergent people. If you are a higher education student or sabbatical officer who is passionate about improving student life for your peers, then this role could be perfect for you. This role pays £100 per meeting and Student Minds will cover travel expenses within the UK. To apply: - Complete the application form and equality monitoring form by 20th April at 11.59pm. - If you have any questions or concerns about the process or wish to discuss accessibility requirements, please contact [email protected]. (We’re very friendly!) There will not be interviews for this role and members will be appointed based on applications only. The first steering group meeting is expected to take place in-person (location TBD) on 3rd May. Travel expenses will be covered by Student Minds. *Neurodivergent refers to individuals whose brain functions, cognitive processes, or behavioral patterns differ from what is typically expected in society. This includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and Tourette’s syndrome, among others. |
