Student Advisory Committee
Our Student Advisory Committee (SAC) meets quarterly and advises Student Minds on strategic decisions, our programmes, our projects and our policies, as well as informing the approach we take to engage students in our work. We recruit students to join our Student Advisory Committee once a year, typically in October / November. Join our Student Community to be the first to hear when recruitment opens.

University Mental Health Charter Award Assessors
Our Student Assessors form part of our Assessor network for the University Mental Health Charter (UMHC) Award. Student Assessors bring a unique perspective, working with academics and clinicians to provide vital insight throughout UMHC Award Assessments. We will be recruiting for new Student Assessors in 2025, so join our Student Community to be the first to hear when recruitment opens.

Student Space: Student Stories
Fill in the Student Story form
Student stories give you the opportunity to share your experience of managing your mental health at university. Your video can help other students who are experiencing similar challenges across a range of topics - from friendship to managing money, we want your story to be heard.  If you’d like to share your story on Student Space, you can fill in this form and we will get in touch.  We are open to exploring stories about any wellbeing-related topics, and are currently particularly interested in hearing from students about their experiences accessing mental health support during university.
Careers at Student Minds

It's rare to find spaces solely dedicated to [uni students’] mental health, especially those that intentionally create tailored support materials for diverse groups. This experience has been transformative.

Student-led improvement tool
Are you interested in understanding how you can improve your university’s approach to mental health and wellbeing? Our student-led improvement tool is a co-produced guide which allows students to: reflect on how their university supports mental health, look at what their university does well and what needs more work, and make recommendations for improvement towards a whole-university approach.
