University CounsellingThe University Counselling Service can be a great way to gain support. It is an active process which will give you the chance to explore and understand the issues you bring in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Details of your university counselling service will be available on the university website.

Your GP
A good first step to take when thinking about getting treatment is to visit your GP. This can seem like a scary prospect, but it is a very important step in the road to recovery. It can be helpful to write down what you have been experiencing before you go to your first appointment.

Mind
Mind is a national charity which provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. You can contact them either through their national helpline or through one of their local Minds.

IAPT
Improving Access to Psychological Therapies is an NHS programme. Psychological therapies have been shown to be highly effective, so this is a great place to start!

E-CommunityBipolar UK offers an online e-community for individuals with bipolar disorder to gain support. There are also additional services for young people aged 18-25 years old.
